In recent yrs, the area to be in Paris has been, at any given time, just one of a string of Israeli dining places. It commenced with Balagan, then Shabour, with tough-hewn interiors and a Michelin star. (Vogue France proclaimed it “our new favourite restaurant in the heart of Paris” in 2019 and mentioned that you’re possible to be greeted at the door with a glass of bubbly.)
Now the crew guiding the two eateries—including chef Assif Granit—has opened Tekés, “an ode to vegetation and to the ancestral cooking techniques of Jerusalem,” in accordance to the Tekés site, and all vegetarian. The restaurant’s title signifies “ceremony” in Hebrew, and in fact, the interiors by Rodolphe Albert from Cent 15 Architecture come to feel like a site for quietly stylish celebration. Take a glance.

To enter, “there are two doorways, relying on your mood,” in accordance to Tekés. The initially enters through Klay, the swanky sports club established by Arthur Benzaquen (also a component of the team at the rear of Tekés). “The other door potential customers to the restaurant, with its daring earthen colours.”
