Abdellatif al-Jablawi, the property’s proprietor and household patriarch, led a tour of the classic home wherever he was born 80 yrs back.

The home is comprised of 13 rooms splashed with daylight colored by stained glass home windows, which includes a grand ceremonial salon and kitchen, which Jablawi nonetheless calls “the hearth”, as it was recognized when he was young.
The rooms are related by steep, narrow stairs and partitions of yellow brick, a historic constructing material nonetheless generated in southern Iraq.
