Beaver County Christian ends nomadic existence with opening of new health and fitness center

Beaver County Christian School in Beaver Falls has built a new gym complex. The gym gives BCCS athletic programs their first home in the school's 50-year history.

BEAVER FALLS – For 50 years, the Beaver County Christian indoor athletic applications lived the lifetime of nomads.

The basketball and volleyball teams performed and practiced anywhere they could get courtroom time – at Geneva College and Penn Condition Beaver, at New Brighton and Beaver large universities, at church buildings and group amenities, even on carpet. Elementary and center university college students lacked a specific area for physical education lessons, and high faculty pupils performed inside a gymnasium that was not regulation size and doubled as the school’s theater.

The nomadic lifetime strike home this drop. The COVID-19 pandemic compelled faculties, school districts and group properties to shut their doors to renters like BCCS. The girls volleyball workforce performed every single sport on the highway.

On January 15, that all improved. Occupancy permit in hand, Beaver County Christian opened the doorways to the manufacturer new Steve Warden Gymnasium driving the elementary university on 6th Avenue in Beaver Falls.
