At the outset of the pandemic, health treatment personnel were being showered with gift baskets, parades, encouraging roadside signs and outstanding F-16 fly-bys at hospitals. On the other hand, all those expressions of many thanks have waned and the COVID-19 hospital admissions and virus-associated deaths proceed. As Jake Henry Jr., president and CEO of Saint Francis Health Procedure, noted, these frontline heroes “are fatigued right after donning own protective equipment for a bustling 12-hour shift more than and over once again. “When they get in their motor vehicle and generate home, they are definitely spent,” Henry reported. “When they enter unmasked apathy in community locations — outlets, restaurants and general public gatherings — they truly feel defeated.”
