Environmentally friendly is probably the most well-known kitchen colour in Scandinavia suitable now – and there is no denying how calming and lovely it is. But it’s also great to discover a kitchen area which goes from the tide – like this one with ochre cabinets. In point, the total apartment in SOFO (South of Folkungagatan), in the hipster district of Södermalm, Stockholm has been decorated in a lovely, one of a kind palette. Assume earthy blue, dusty pink (related to Farrow & Ball’s popular ‘setting plaster‘) and a dampened ochre in the children’s bed room (could be Jotun Girl ‘Cashmere‘ or ‘Hummus‘)- a fantastic lesson in how to make a ‘röd tråd’ (pink thread) throughout your residence using colour.

Genuinely stunning – and this kind of fantastic use of colour.

Is there anything that stood out to you?

Would you contemplate having this yellow, blue and pink mix in your residence? or maybe a kitchen area with ochre cupboards?

Previous 7 days in Sweden was all about the ‘Studenten’ i.e., when college students graduate from ‘gymnasium’ (sixth form faculty / higher college). The 7 days was peppered with get-togethers in which sailor-clad graduates celebrated with family members and good friends until eventually the early hours. Pointless to say, everyone’s however in recovery manner this Monday! But even now it was a amazing 7 days!

Do you have unique traditions in your region for all those graduating from higher university?
