18-month-old boy found in Winter Garden retention pond dies, police say

“The neighbor, she came, she was asking if we observed a child, and we explained to her ‘No,’” reported Donna Hernandez, a neighbor who aided research for the boy. “And I walked about. I walked to a person of our trailers, and I witnessed the baby floating in the water. I screamed to my spouse. He arrived running and grabbed the infant out even though I called 911.”
